CreativoHub
Project Overview
A home for creatives — vibrant, bold, and full of personality
CreativoHub is a website concept designed for a platform that connects and supports creatives: designers, illustrators, photographers, and educators. The goal was to build an engaging digital presence that reflects the energy and diversity of the creative community, while staying functional and conversion-oriented.
Design Approach
Vibrant visuals meet purposeful UX
We broke away from traditional grids and embraced an expressive, editorial feel. The color palette is bold and varied — celebrating visual experimentation — while typography is oversized, playful, and layered. Each section of the site introduces a new visual rhythm, echoing the diversity of creative work.
We used overlapping elements, animated transitions, and bold illustrations to keep the page in motion and spark curiosity. Navigation remains simple and sticky, grounding the user in a consistent experience.
Design highlights:
– Collage-style layout with layered visuals
– Animated transitions that bring the brand to life
– Modular cards for showcasing creators, events, or courses
Impact & Value
Designed to inspire — and drive action
CreativoHub helped us explore how far we can push structure without sacrificing clarity. The project served as a testing ground for expressive layouts that still convert, and it now influences how we build visual-first websites for community-driven platforms.
What it brought us:
– A creative-first web system adaptable to many formats
– Proof that expressive design can still convert
– A bolder approach to combining motion, visuals, and type
Creative Discovery
Tapping into community energy
We kicked off with a series of moodboards and visual benchmarks focused on art schools, design collectives, and portfolio platforms. Together with the client, we defined 3 creative themes: expressive, inclusive, and dynamic — which became pillars for the site’s visual language.
Design & Prototyping
Breaking the grid (but keeping structure)
We sketched out an untraditional but highly usable layout system. Prototypes included layered visuals, animated transitions, and unique card designs for creators, events, and content. We used Figma variables and components to ensure flexibility and consistency in future updates.
Delivery & Launch Prep
Performance meets personality
Final refinements focused on mobile optimization, animation smoothing, and building a lightweight design system for handoff. We created screen-by-screen developer notes, export kits, and even a mini content guide to help the platform team maintain creative consistency post-launch.
